A lifetime creative, I enjoy bringing ideas to life in physical form through performance arts and physical or practical arts and crafts. Surrounded by an innovative and creative family, I grew up with a deep appreciation of the creative process.
I learned how to sew when I was twelve while making costumes for my theater and dance performances where the shell of shyness was cracked and I found a home on stage.
Arts & crafts were always a part of life. I love working with color and design and stained glass is the perfect medium.
I had a decorative painting business for five years where I helped people decide on color and design. I did the work myself and would hire and manage crews when extra help was needed. When the chemicals and sanding work started to take it’s toll on my voice, I decided to put the painting business to bed, but I thought I’d share the photos for your enjoyment or inspiration.
I continue to work with stained glass, sew and create in whatever hands on creative ideas that manifest. I am currently recording my first original album of songs and am hoping to start working on some mosaics. For me, life is about keeping life fun and loving by moving forward in a positive way through the creative process inside and out.
